Yarn Bombing to Build Awareness about National Deafblind Awareness Month

Throughout the month of June community objects across the country are being “yarn bombed,” a form of street art where yarn that is knit, crochet, or wrapped around an object in a public space. This largescale global tactile arts initiative symbolizes the coming together of individuals who are deafblind, friends, families, community groups and knitting and crocheting clubs to raise awareness and knowledge about this unique disability.
